The £120K residential scheme involved the complete replacement of over 60 traditional sash windows with modern Easy Clean units. The 20-week programme demanded meticulous attention to detail to ensure minimal disruption to residents while maintaining the building's architectural integrity in this bustling East London location.

317 Whitechapel Road forms part of a significant mixed-use development in the heart of East London’s vibrant Whitechapel district. The six-storey building, managed by Places for London, comprises 14 contemporary apartments above ground-floor retail space. TRC’s window replacement programme was crucial in upgrading the residential units, which range from one to three bedrooms, enhancing both their thermal and acoustic performance.

The property’s location, directly opposite Whitechapel Underground station and the new Elizabeth Line, made the specification of high-performance acoustic glazing particularly important for resident comfort. The building’s prominent position on Whitechapel Road, a major arterial route, demanded windows that would not only perform technically but also complement the area’s architectural character.
